How I Do It!
Do your homework & make sure your choosing the right Pet Care Facility for your pet when you go away on vacation. You have a responsibility to insure that your pet will be comfortable & well taken care of while your gone. Your pet should be enjoying his vacation as much as you are enjoying yours.- Know that in a Kennel environment housing 45-50 at a time, it’s impossible to provide quality care & comfort to each dog. So, with that being said, taking in a limited amount of pets and a one on one approach to handling your pet , means your pet will be getting the best care he can possibly get.
- We do a MEET & GREET safety assessment with your pet at my home to make sure your pet is a good fit for our pack!
- All pets must be “PET FRIENDLY”.
- I REFUSE TO PUT MY CLIENTS IN A “JAIL CELL”-unlike most boarding facilities, I don’t believe in simply kenneling dogs until their owners return. I have to be able to trust your pet and they must trust me.
- ROUTINE is very important to how I run my business. I try to maintain the same schedule as the pet is used to. Same eating schedule, exercise schedule etc. Pets feels much more secure in their own skin when they are provided with a routine they can depend on.
- When pets arrive for their vacation, it’s important that they know my voice & that I have control over them & that they are safe.
- I maintain a structured environment for the pets. I donot tolerate any aggression. I run a clean, calm ,happy facility. We have “down time” so pets can RELAX, RECHARGE & REFRESH.
- Daily check ins on my Facebook page will keep the Pet Parent aware of their pets activities during their stay at “Touch of Luv Pet Services”. A great piece of mind for the pet parent.
- I use Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils for diffusing, cleaning and taking care of all the animals that come into my home. NO HARSH CHEMICALS! Which means a safer environment for your baby.
- Know that it’s a “PACK” that teaches each dog very subtle clues about how to get along. A pack of good-natured, sweet dogs with no aggression issues or bad habits is a recipe for a wonderful vacation for your pet.
- I am attuned to Reiki. I offer daily Reiki Treatments to all the fur babies that stay with me! Animals love Reiki!
